Statement from Fenerbahçe regarding collected signatures

Fenerbahçe has issued a statement declaring that the review process concerning the signature declarations submitted to the club has been completed and that a detailed report has been presented to the General Secretariat.

While announcing the number of valid signatures, the yellow-navy club stated that a re-evaluation could be conducted based on the responses to the informational SMS and emails sent to the members.

Stating that the detailed report was submitted to the General Secretariat, the yellow-navy club also announced the number of valid signatures. The club stated that out of the 9,954 signature declarations submitted to them, 8,468 were considered valid according to Article 75 of the Civil Code, and 7,982 were considered valid according to the Fenerbahçe club statutes, while 1,023 signature declarations were deemed invalid.

The following statements were included in the announcement made on the official website of the yellow-navy club:

"Regarding the signature process for the Extraordinary General Assembly call, the Fenerbahçe Sports Club Registry Board has completed the necessary examinations on the Signature Declarations submitted to them and presented its detailed report to the Fenerbahçe Sports Club General Secretariat on 25.07.2025.

In summary, the report states:

That 9,954 signature declarations were submitted to them to be evaluated in accordance with Article 20/3 of the Statutes,

That due to the declarations differing in type and content, they were evaluated in 10 separate categories,

Accordingly, declarations in accordance with the procedure;

• Declarations prepared directly by a notary

• Declarations prepared outside but signed in the presence of a notary

• Declarations signed outside and re-signed in the presence of a notary

• Declarations prepared at embassies and consulates were categorized as such,

Declarations not in accordance with the procedure;

• Declarations whose signatures were not certified by a notary

• Those not prepared as a signature certification declaration

• Declarations submitted in the form of photocopies

• Declarations submitted directly in the form of photographs

• Declarations prepared by foreign notaries but lacking an apostille certificate

• Declarations without notary markings were identified.

As a result of the control carried out by the Registry Board;

- A total of 551 duplicate declarations belonging to 271 congress members were found among these declarations; 280 duplicate declarations were removed.

- The declarations of 37 people in total were deemed invalid because the signatories were not congress members.

- During the audit process, 22 of our congress members who had declarations withdrew their signatures and were therefore excluded from the evaluation.

- Declarations belonging to 124 of our congress members with different notary information and journal numbers were identified. Informational SMS and e-mails have been sent to the relevant members regarding the matter; examination and control procedures on the declarations in question will continue in line with the responses to be received.

Following the evaluation of the declarations of 9,491 congress members, after deducting the number of declarations belonging to congress members that were deemed invalid by the Registry Board for the reasons stated above or whose processes are still ongoing;

Valid according to the Civil Code: 8,468

Valid according to the FBSK Statutes: 7,982

Invalid: 1,023

The number of members with outstanding dues as of the date of the declaration is 486.

In line with these findings, each member has been informed via SMS and e-mail, and a re-examination may be conducted based on the feedback we receive. In this context, if there are any declarations whose valid or invalid status changes, the matter will also be submitted to the Board of Directors for their information.
