Fenerbahçe Club spoke out regarding refereeing decisions ahead of their match against Trabzonspor.

Regarding the resignation of Süper Lig referee Kemal Yılmaz, the Fenerbahçe club stated, "Today, the fact that a referee has announced this and resigned after being punished for making a correct decision in a Fenerbahçe match has laid bare the point that Turkish football has reached."

"WE DEMAND FAIR OFFICIATING

As Fenerbahçe Sports Club, in the 2023-24 season, which we began with a call for justice,

As of the 10th week, we have faced countless injustices, whether through referees on the pitch, VAR operations behind the screens, or referee appointments led by the MHK (Central Referee Board).

Today, the fact that a referee has announced this and resigned after being punished for making a correct decision in a Fenerbahçe match has laid bare the point that Turkish football has reached.

Our club will make the necessary statements regarding both the first 10-week period and the recent referee incident on Sunday, November 5.

However, ahead of our Trendyol Süper Lig match against Trabzonspor tomorrow, our expectation is that the match be completed without any referee errors, small or large, and that the referees be fair.

In this regard, we expect everyone responsible, including referees, VAR, observers, representatives, and broadcasters, to do what is necessary."
