Statement from Galatasaray Second President regarding Fenerbahçe's complaint
Galatasaray Sports Club Second President Metin Öztürk, following Fenerbahçe's complaint against the yellow-red club to 7 separate institutions, stated: "The reason for listing absurd allegations—which are now clearly seen to be secretly supported by them—and applying to state institutions based on these claims is the derby match we will play this weekend. The plan has been exposed, and the intention has been revealed."

Following Fenerbahçe Club's official complaint against Galatasaray to the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, the Capital Markets Board (SPK), the Spor Toto Organization Presidency, the Banks Association, and the TFF regarding issues such as underreporting player salaries, tax evasion, and illegal betting advertisements, Galatasaray Sports Club Second President Metin Öztürk made a statement. In the statement released on the yellow-red team's official website, Öztürk used the following expressions:
"The statements served yesterday on the official website of our opponent, whom we will play this weekend, through the mouth of an executive, are quite important in terms of revealing who is behind the game planned to stir up our club recently.
We are all witnessing the new game played by this mentality, which fails to win on the pitch, to drag our community off the pitch. The club that should be the last to talk about law, morality, and ethics in Turkey has fallen into the ridiculous situation of trying to lecture us all on these matters.
The reason for listing absurd allegations—which are now clearly seen to be secretly supported by them—and applying to state institutions based on these claims is the derby match we will play this weekend. The plan has been exposed, and the intention has been revealed.
There is no issue for which our club cannot give an account. We expect the same courage from them as well.
Today, as all Galatasaray fans, we are together more strongly against those who try to stir us up. And we are fully concentrated on the match we will play this weekend."
