Statement from Konyaspor regarding Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe!

TÜMOSAN Konyaspor President Ömer Korkmaz, from the Süper Lig teams, made statements regarding the club's goals.

Stating that their goal is to remain in a position in the league far from the relegation zone, Korkmaz expressed that the 3-window transfer ban imposed on the club by FIFA has been misinterpreted by the public.

Emphasizing that they are facing a transfer ban due to unpaid transfer fees and incomplete payments to some players in past transfers, Korkmaz said, "Our club has the strength at this point. It can lift this transfer ban. We are in a position to lift the ban once we make the payment. Since these are not our payment priorities right now, we are also far from the transfer season. Our goals are clear. Our priority is to keep the team in a healthy place in this league. Towards the end of the season, we will make it suitable for our conditions and handle it. There is an option period for this. We want to be a club where these are no longer talked about in a short time."

STATEMENT ON FENERBAHÇE AND GALATASARAY: KONYASPOR COULD DETERMINE THE CHAMPION

Recalling that they have earned 8 points in the last 4 weeks, Korkmaz stated that the goal of the green-and-whites is to remain in the safe zone.

Noting that they will stay away from the relegation zone with 43 points in the league, Korkmaz said, "42-43 points seem like the safe zone. Naturally, our current points are not too far from there. This is a big city, a strong community. We have 8 matches left. We are playing 5 of them at home. But 2 of these are against teams playing for the championship. Our main concern is to stay in the safe area. To complete the league safely and beautifully, and to prepare better for the upcoming seasons."

Reminding that Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray will come to Konya, Korkmaz said, "We want to beat both of them here. That is what we mean by determining the championship. We take the field to reclaim points from every team we dropped points against away from home. If we beat both teams, we don't care who becomes the champion. We also like the power of determining the champion."

Stating that they will host Trabzonspor on April 3 in the league, Korkmaz noted the following:
