Statement from Napoli President: Matches should be broadcast for free!

Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis stated at a panel he attended that matches should be broadcast without encryption.

Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis, who shared his views on current television broadcasting in football at a panel held in London, said, "Matches should be free for everyone. If you want to keep the audience, you have to broadcast them for free."

"FORMULA 1 SHOULD BE AN EXAMPLE" 

Stating that "how you present football is also important," the 74-year-old football executive noted that Formula 1 broadcasting should serve as an example for football.

Laurentiis asked, "How is it that the footage in Formula 1 makes you feel as if you are in the cockpit with the drivers, but you cannot experience this in football?"

Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis also said that stadiums in Italy are in a dilapidated state and that many of them need to be renovated in the near future.
