Statement from Serdal Adalı on Salah: Beşiktaş has withdrawn from the transfer race, work continues for Vlahovic

Beşiktaş President Serdal Adalı made statements regarding the black-and-white club's transfer agenda. Reacting to comments made over the transfer of Mohamed Salah, who joined Trabzonspor's squad, Adalı stated that Beşiktaş did not suffer a "transfer hijack" during this process.

Stating that the club's position on Salah was misinterpreted, Adalı said, "My community and my fans should know well that we did not want this transfer. We did not sign Salah. There is no situation where we were outmaneuvered or failed to sign him."

Emphasizing that Beşiktaş's transfer planning is ongoing, Adalı said, "Since I have been here, no one has been able to take a player from our hands. Besides, our relationship with Trabzonspor is good; such a thing would not happen. Our transfers are continuing in a planned manner. New names will arrive after next week."

Addressing the comments made about his facial expression following the Salah chants from the stands during Trossard's signing ceremony, Adalı stated that he did not hear what the fans were saying at that moment. The Beşiktaş President, stating that Salah was neither in their plans nor their programs, expressed that the process did not disrupt the club's general transfer plan.

Adalı said, "You know me, I don't look at the cost. Things happened with the player's agent that we have never experienced before. I think it was for the best. When the time comes, some things will come to light, and everyone will understand why this transfer did not happen."

Providing information about Leandro Trossard's situation, Adalı said there is no problem with the player's license, that the procedures have been completed, and that they are waiting for documents from England. Adalı noted that Trossard will not play in the first match, but is expected to be ready to play for the second match.

Speaking about other names on Beşiktaş's agenda, Adalı expressed that work is continuing for Dusan Vlahovic. Regarding the Brahim Diaz claims, he stated, "There is no initiative for Brahim Diaz."
