Beşiktaş Club President Serdal Adalı provided information to members of the press regarding the striker transfer. Adalı stated that they held a face-to-face meeting with experienced forward Ciro Immobile and conveyed the club's current conditions during this meeting.
President Adalı said regarding the meeting with Immobile, "We sat down and talked with him, and we explained our club's terms. We indicated that we are planning to sign another striker. Immobile is a very logical and understanding person. He approached our offer positively and was pleased with our face-to-face meeting. He said he would get back to us after consulting with his family. We had requests such as a salary reduction and per-match payments," he said.
The 35-year-old Italian footballer has scored 19 goals and provided 4 assists in 41 matches he played for Beşiktaş this season.
