Statement from the TFF regarding the health status of referee Abdullah Buğra Taşkınsoy

The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) announced that referee Abdullah Buğra Taşkınsoy, who fell ill before the Ziraat Turkish Cup semi-final match between Konyaspor and Galatasaray, has been transferred to a hospital.

In the statement made by the TFF, it was stated: "Referee Abdullah Buğra Taşkınsoy, who was assigned to the semi-final match played between Konyaspor and Galatasaray in the Ziraat Turkish Cup, underwent a medical examination after feeling unwell following the pre-match warm-up session.

As a result of the doctor's examination, a high pulse was detected, and considering our referee's health status, it was decided that he would not officiate the match."

The statement, which noted that Taşkınsoy's general health condition is good, included the following remarks:

"Following this development, the match began with a 12-minute delay as the fourth official, Ali Yılmaz, took the field as the referee. From the 13th minute of the match onwards, Elite Class Referee Raşit Yorgancılar served as the fourth official in place of Abdullah Buğra Taşkınsoy. Abdullah Buğra Taşkınsoy, whose general health condition is good, was transferred to the hospital by ambulance for observation."
