The Union of Clubs has released a statement regarding the betting process. The statement read, "We have closely followed the announcements shared with the public today by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding illegal betting and attempts to influence match results in our football.

Turkish football represents a large family, from club presidents and executives to referees, athletes to technical teams, and media representatives to fans.

The reputation of this great structure can only be protected through fair competition, honesty, and sports ethics. For this reason, any inclination toward illegal betting, attempts to influence match results, or abuse for personal gain by any stakeholder in football is unacceptable and cannot be tolerated.

Illegal betting is a threat that harms not only Turkish football but sports all over the world. In this regard, we find the struggle put forth by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office to be important and valuable; we believe that this process will bring a clean and strong future to Turkish sports.

As the Union of Clubs Foundation, we respectfully submit to the public's information that we are ready to provide all kinds of support to this ongoing process against all illegal and criminal attempts in football," the statement concluded.
