Trabzonspor Health Committee Chairman Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Beşir has issued a statement regarding the health status of Anthony Nwakaeme, who was injured during the match against Kocaelispor played in the first week of the Trendyol Süper Lig.

Beşir stated, "Following the examination and MRI imaging of our player Anthony Nwakaeme, who left the game due to an injury during our A-Team's match against Kocaelispor in the 1st week of the Trendyol Süper Lig, a tear, hemorrhage, and extensive edema were detected in his left posterior thigh muscle and tendon. Our medical team has begun the player's treatment."
