Striking remarks from Fikret Orman about Serdal Adalı

Former Beşiktaş president Fikret Orman drew attention to the serious problems the club is facing in statements made to Tivibu Spor. Criticizing the fact that the stands were half-empty during Beşiktaş's first match, Orman emphasized that the club must be made watchable again.

Orman said, "To be successful at Beşiktaş, you have to be successful despite Beşiktaş. As fans and as a community, we must take ownership of the club." Criticizing the booing of players during the match against Shakhtar, Orman stated that Beşiktaş is a big club but that it must prove its greatness as a community.

Stating that Serdal Adalı is fighting for the club, Orman said, "This club is not Serdal Adalı's, it is our club. It is our duty to take ownership of Beşiktaş." Orman expressed his discomfort with the community's negative attitude and spoke of conspiracies organized against Beşiktaş.

Stating that most of the lawsuits filed against him have concluded, Orman said, "They filed a lawsuit because a wall was painted. The fire inside me still hasn't gone out." Drawing attention to the importance of the stadium regarding Beşiktaş's revenue sources, Orman argued that the club should be built on happiness.

Touching on transfer policies, Orman stated that he is surprised that the Vagner Love transfer is still being criticized. Saying that Beşiktaş needs players in every position, Orman expressed that names like Onana and Chamberlain should be discussed. Emphasizing that Al-Musrati is a player who needs to be won over, Orman said he sees Beşiktaş's chances of winning the championship this season as low.
