Super Cup statement from İsmail Kartal: They are cornering us!

In the 31st week of the Süper Lig, Fenerbahçe defeated Adana Demirspor 4-2 at home.

Following the match, Fenerbahçe manager İsmail Kartal made statements.

Evaluating the match, İsmail Kartal said, "We prepared very well for the match. We became one with our fans, our players, and our community. We started the match with high energy and motivation. We played the best first 25-30 minutes of the season. We found goal-scoring opportunities in the first half; we could have scored more and capitalized on them."

İsmail Kartal also added, "The score became 1-1 due to a simple mistake. In the second half, we talked to our players and tried to play our game by being calmer and doing our own job. We fought well. Answering a question about his goalkeeper choice, İsmail Kartal said, "Who is in the starting 11 and on the bench for tonight's match? There are 2 Turkish players on the bench. Çağlar and Serdar Dursun. The others are young players. We played İrfan so that our hands would be free by prioritizing ourselves in case something happened to the Turkish players during the match. Mistakes can happen; he compensated for his mistake. If we could have found the goals we wanted, we could have left here with a different score."
