The Turkish Football Federation and the Union of Clubs Foundation, through their jointly established Broadcasting Tender Commission, have met to evaluate the bids submitted for the broadcasting rights of the Super Lig and the TFF 1. Lig.
In a statement from the TFF, it was noted that "at the meeting where the bids submitted for the transfer of broadcasting rights for the Super Lig and TFF 1. Lig matches for the 2024-2025, 2025-2026, and 2026-2027 football seasons were evaluated by the commission, sales and marketing strategies and cooperation topics that will increase the global recognition of Turkish football and generate more revenue for our clubs were discussed, alongside a comparative analysis of broadcasting revenues provided by leading countries in football."
The statement further added, "The tender organized by the Turkish Football Federation regarding the transfer of broadcasting rights for the Super Lig and TFF 1. Lig matches for the 2024-2025, 2025-2026, and 2026-2027 football seasons is being conducted via closed bidding and negotiation methods, in accordance with the General Tender Specifications and the Special Specifications for each package."
Meanwhile, it was stated that the goal is to complete the tender for the transfer of broadcasting rights for the Super Lig and TFF 1. Lig matches by February 29, 2024.
