Taha Akgül in the semi-finals at the Paris 2024 Olympics

At the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, our national wrestler Taha Akgül advanced to the semi-finals by defeating Hungary's Daniel Ligeti 8-0 in the men's freestyle 125kg quarter-finals.

Akgül, who has increased his hopes for a medal at the Olympics, will face Iran's Amir Hossein Zare in the 3rd match of the evening session, which will begin at 19:15, for a spot in the final.
