Tensions flare between Sumudica and Fenerbahçe fans

Following the Galatasaray match, Gaziantep FKmanager Marius Sumudica, who arrived at Istanbul Airport to return to Gaziantep, was involved in a dispute with Fenerbahçe a dispute broke out with a passenger who was identified as a fan.

"Coach İsmail needs to show respect. He should only talk about tactics and football. If they want, we can play at the Fenerbahçe stadium too. If they can get permission from the federation, we can play all our matches there if he wants; we are playing here. The coach needs to show respect to the city and the club. From a professional standpoint, he shouldn't be concerned with the pitch. If he doesn't like our pitch, we can go play somewhere else in the city. We are playing here and he has to accept that. We are going to Sivas, maybe it will be -8 degrees, and if we lose points there, will that be my excuse?" he had said.

On the other hand, during the press conference following the Gaziantep FK-Fenerbahçe match, Sumudica's "Who is İsmail Kartal?" remarks were captured on camera.
