TFF announces: 7 clubs in the 2nd League penalized with point deductions
Following its final evaluation regarding license applications, the TFF Club Licensing Board has imposed point deduction penalties on 7 clubs from the 2nd League.

The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Club Licensing Board has announced its decisions regarding the license applications of clubs competing in the Trendyol Süper League, Trendyol 1st League, and Nesine 2nd League within the scope of the National Club Licensing System.
Following the board's review based on sporting, social and environmental sustainability, infrastructure, personnel-administrative, legal, and financial criteria, point deduction penalties were imposed on Nesine 2nd League teams that failed to complete their requirements within the given timeframe.
According to the TFF's statement, the clubs penalized with point deductions are as follows: Arkent Arnavutköy Belediyesi Futbol SK, Adana Demirspor A.Ş., Hatayspor, İskenderunspor A.Ş., MKE Ankaragücü, Serik Spor Futbol A.Ş., and Sultan Su İnegölspor.
The board also reported that national licenses were granted to Erzurumspor FK, Eyüpspor, Gençlerbirliği, and Kocaelispor from the Super League; Bandırmaspor, Bursaspor, and Metro Holding Kayserispor from the 1st League; and certain clubs from the 2nd League.
The statement noted that for the 2026-2027 season, 11 of the clubs in the top 3 leagues received UEFA licenses, while 44 received National Licenses. It was also stated that 3 of the clubs in the Turkcell Women's Football Super League received UEFA Licenses.
