The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has revised its player eligibility regulations.

In a statement on the TFF's website, it was announced that the foreign player rule in the player eligibility regulations, which the federation had announced on April 18, has been updated.

In its April 18 statement, the federation had noted that for the 14 foreign players who can be registered on the A-team list in the Süper Lig, there is no age criteria for 12 of them, and that for the 2025-2026 season, at least 2 players must have been born on or after January 1, 2003. The TFF had also announced that for the 2026-2027 season, at least 4 of the 14 foreign players must have been born on or after January 1, 2004.

In its statement today, the TFF announced that if a contract of more than 1 season is signed with foreign players born in 2003 who were registered on the A-team list before the 2025-2026 season, these players can be registered on the A-team list subject to this rule for 2 seasons.

The federation announced that the revised rule also applies to Trendyol 1. Lig teams.
