TFF announces names sanctioned in betting investigation

The Turkish Football Federation's Professional Football Discipline Committee has announced the penalties issued to 282 out of 1,024 players as part of a betting investigation.

In a statement from the TFF, it was announced that the disciplinary committee had issued bans ranging from 45 days to 12 months to 281 of the 282 players referred for betting.

282 PLAYERS SANCTIONED

It was stated that player Canberk Aydemir, who was referred to the committee, had already been penalized for betting activities, and therefore no further penalty was necessary.

The PFDK had previously announced that Canberk Aydemir was issued a 1-year ban on September 2, 2025.

The statement from the TFF regarding the matter is as follows:

"The decisions taken by our Committee regarding the 2nd League athletes referred to us in accordance with Article 57 of the FDT at the Professional Football Discipline Committee's meeting dated 18.11.2025 and numbered 28 are stated below.

1- BURAK BİLGEN shall be punished with a 45-DAY BAN, at the discretion and as a result of the application of Article 57/2 of the FDT and Article 13 of the FDT due to betting activity,
