TFF announces new foreign player rule
The Turkish Football Federation has announced that the number of foreign players will be reduced from 14 to 12 for the 2024-2025 season, and to 11 for the following two seasons.

The new foreign player rule has been announced on the Turkish Football Federation's website.
According to the statement, the number of foreign players will be reduced from 14 to 12 as of the 2024/25 season. It was stated that this regulation will further reduce the number of foreign players to 11 for the 2025/26 and 2026/27 seasons.
Additionally, there will be no restrictions on the match-day squad list, but the number of players to be registered on the A-Team list will be reduced from 30 to 26.
The statement issued by the TFF included the following:
"Starting from the 2024-2025 season, the number of foreign-national players to be registered on the A-Team list has been reduced from 14 to 12 for the first three seasons, and to 11 for the following two seasons. There will be no restrictions on the match-day list.
The number of players to be registered on the A-Team list has been reduced from 30 to 26 in order to enable clubs to manage their transfer budgets more effectively."
