A National Team Head Coach Vincenzo Montella is mourning the loss of his sister, Caterina Montella. The Turkish Football Federation announced that Caterina Montella passed away in the hospital where she was receiving treatment following a tragic accident at her home.
In a statement released by the TFF, it was stated, "We have learned with deep sorrow that Caterina Montella, the sister of our A National Team Head Coach Vincenzo Montella, has passed away in the hospital where she was being treated following a tragic accident at her home."
The statement noted that a funeral ceremony for Caterina Montella will be held today at 16:30 local time at the San Nicola Church in the Castello di Cisterna district of Naples.
The Federation extended its condolences to Vincenzo Montella, as well as to the deceased's family and loved ones.
