TFF Arbitration Board reduces Abdullah Kavukcu's ban
The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Arbitration Board has announced that the 45-day ban and 3 million TL fine imposed on Galatasaray Sportif AŞ Deputy Chairman Abdullah Kavukcu have been reduced to a 15-day ban and a 2 million TL fine.

Regarding the matter, the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) stated on its official websitethatina statement, "The appeal by Galatasaray administrator Abdullah Kavukcu against the PFDK decision dated 11.12.2025 and numbered E.2025-2026/2021 - K.2025-2026/1885 has been reviewed. As a result of the deliberations;deliberations;
- Galatasaray A.Ş. administrator Abdullah Kavukcu's actions on 04.12.2025 regarding the clubfrom the club's official social media account(YouTube) publishedstatements regarding the damage to the reputation of football and institutionsdue to thestatements, the decision of the PFDK to impose a 45-dayban and a 3,000,000.00 TL fine in accordance with Article 38/1-a of the FDThas been overturned, by unanimous vote,
- Regarding the statements made by Galatasaray A.Ş. executive Abdullah Kavukcu on the club's official social media account(YouTube) onDecember 4, 2025,whichcontained remarks aimed at damaging the reputation of football and institutions,it was determined that there was no reason to deviate from the lower limit. Therefore, in accordance with Articles 38/1-a and 25/2 of the Football Disciplinary Instructions (FDT),a 15-day ban from football-related activitiesand a fine of 2,000,000.00 TL were imposed.to be punished with, bymajorityvote, it has been decided," the statement said.
