In a statement released by the TFF, it was noted that the appeal filed by Ali Koç—who had been sentenced to a 45-day ban and a 210 thousand lira fine by the TFF Professional Football Discipline Committee for "unsportsmanlike conduct" and "statements regarding the referee and other match officials" made during a program he attended—was reviewed.

As a result of the appeal, it was recorded that, concluding there was no justification to deviate from the lower limit of the penalty, the ban was reduced from 45 days to 21 days, and the fine was reduced from 210 thousand lira to 100 thousand lira.
