As debates regarding the foreign player rule continue ahead of the new season, the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has announced its decision on the matter. The federation stated that despite objections from clubs, there will be no changes to the 10+4 foreign player policy.

10+4 RULE TO REMAIN IN EFFECT

In a statement released by the TFF, it was announced that the previously declared 10+4 foreign player rule will be implemented exactly as planned for the new season.

Consequently, no adjustments were made to the foreign player status, which the majority of clubs had requested to be revised.

CLUBS HAD REQUESTED CHANGES

The new foreign player rule had been on the agenda for many Süper Lig clubs ahead of the season. A significant portion of the clubs had requested that the 10+4 system be re-evaluated and that changes be made to certain clauses.
