The TFF has reached its decision regarding the Elazığspor-Vanspor FK match. The game had been suspended after an assistant referee was injured by an object thrown from the stands that struck his head.

Following these events, the TFF Disciplinary Board has ruled that Elazığspor will forfeit the match (3-0).

The letter sent to the clubs by the TFF Disciplinary Board stated the following:

"It has been determined that from the start of the match until its suspension, home team fans threw approximately 1309 foreign objects onto the pitch, used 177 flammable-explosive materials and threw them onto the pitch, broke 232 stadium seats and threw some of them onto the pitch, damaged stadium equipment, caused the match to be stopped for approximately 13 minutes due to the foreign objects thrown, and that these objects struck members of the visiting team. Finally, in the 56th minute of the match, a hard object struck the head of the 2nd assistant referee, causing bleeding, dizziness due to the impact, and the suspension of the match based on the assessment that the assistant referee could not continue in this condition. Furthermore, it was determined that the stadium evacuation gates were opened, allowing approximately 4400 ticketless fans of the Çimentaş Elazığspor Club to enter the stadium, and that these ticketless spectators participated in the pitch incidents, disrupting stadium order and discipline and violating the rules regarding the safe and orderly conduct of the match. Considering the nature and severity of the events, the suspension of the match was deemed appropriate. In accordance with Article 23, Paragraph 4 of the Football Competition Instructions, it has been decided that Çimentaş Elazığspor shall be considered to have forfeited the match (3-0) and Artı Değer Van Spor Futbol Kulübü shall be declared the winner (3-0)."

Meanwhile, if Elazığspor's appeal to the Arbitration Board proves unsuccessful, the 2nd League Play-off final match will be played between Van Spor FK and Batman Petrolspor.
