TFF issues Schengen warning to Turkish citizens ahead of EURO 2024!

The Turkish Football Federation has announced that Turkish citizens must obtain a Schengen visa for the 2024 European Football Championship, which will be hosted by Germany from June 14 to July 14, 2024. 

The following statement was released on the official website of the Turkish Football Federation (TFF):

"Citizens who will be attending the 2024 European Football Championship (EURO 2024), which will be held in 10 cities across Germany from June 14 to July 14, 2024, and in which our National Team will also participate, are required to have a valid Schengen visa for this travel.

Citizens who do not yet have a valid Schengen visa are kindly requested not to delay, in order to ensure that their visa applications can be approved in a timely manner.

A special process has been established by the German Consulate General in Istanbul to expedite applications for citizens who hold match tickets and will be traveling with a Turkish passport.

HOW TO OBTAIN A SCHENGEN VISA?

Schengen visa applications can only be made in person at the German Consulate General in Istanbul. To guarantee appointments, both a ticket number and a booking reference number are required. This information can be accessed via the 'Order History' tab on the UEFA Ticket Portal.
