TFF officially announces: Broadcasting tender cancelled

The broadcasting tender for the Süper Lig and 1. Lig, organized by the TFF for the 2024-2027 seasons, has been cancelled due to the bids received being found insufficient.

The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has announced that the tender process for the TFF Süper Lig and TFF 1. Lig match broadcasting rights for the 2024-2025, 2025-2026, and 2026-2027 football seasons has been cancelled, while a conclusion was expected.

In a statement released on the TFF's official website, it was noted that the Broadcasting Tender Commission recommended the cancellation because the bids submitted for the tender were found to be insufficient.

The statement included the following remarks:

"Due to the bid amounts submitted for the tender being found insufficient, the Broadcasting Tender Commission has taken a recommendation decision for the cancellation of the tender.

The recommendation decision taken by the Broadcasting Tender Commission to cancel the tender on the grounds that the bids received were insufficient has been evaluated by the TFF Board of Directors, and in line with this, the Broadcasting Tender has been cancelled.

In accordance with the decision taken by the TFF Board of Directors and based on the recommendations of the Broadcasting Tender Commission, all interested parties have been granted until Saturday, March 2, 2024, at 13:00 to submit their bids for the transfer of the Süper Lig and 1. Lig broadcasting rights, provided that the estimated value and other criteria determined for the broadcasting tender are met.

It is hereby announced to the public that those who wish to obtain information regarding the scope of the Süper Lig and 1. Lig broadcasting rights and the minimum requirements that must be met should contact the Turkish Football Federation no later than 17:00 on 01.03.2024."
