TFF President Hacıosmanoğlu gives a date: When will the operation be completed?

Turkish Football Federation (TFF) President İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu made important statements regarding the ongoing betting investigation. Stating that he was surprised by the scope of the investigation, which covers 1,024 football players and 152 referees, Hacıosmanoğlu pointed out that the process would be completed in a very short time.

BETTING INVESTIGATION CONTINUES

Hacıosmanoğlu expressed that the picture emerging from the betting investigation surprised him. The TFF President emphasized that the necessary steps for clean football are being taken, saying, "I have been in football for years. God granted me the opportunity to sit in this seat. You must serve with honor and integrity in the position you hold. We have to leave a clean game of football for our children."

RESPONSE TO ALLEGATIONS REGARDING CLUB PRESIDENTS

Addressing allegations that some club presidents were being shielded from the investigation, Hacıosmanoğlu said, "Those tactics don't work on us. For us, there is no difference between the biggest club and the smallest. We look at everyone with the same perspective." The President stated that they would remain committed to the principle of equality in the investigation into club presidents, adding, "There is a heavy burden of responsibility in these matters. You cannot pay the debt of those in the next world."

NO RESTRICTIONS IN THE PROCESS

Regarding the completion timeline of the betting investigation, the TFF President said, "Our work will be finished in a month." Hacıosmanoğlu also called on the clubs, saying, "You should also clean up your own house."

Finally, when asked, "Did you anticipate that referees and football players were involved in betting to this extent?" Hacıosmanoğlu replied, "I did not anticipate it would be this much."
