The meeting, which took place in the Polish capital Warsaw, was also attended by TFF General Secretary Abdullah Ayaz, TFF Foreign Relations and National Teams Administrative Director Buğra Cem İmamoğulları, UEFA Member Associations Director Zoran Lakovic, and former TFF General Secretary and UEFA Strategic Advisor Kadir Kardaş.

During the meeting, UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin once again congratulated İbrahim Ethem Hacıosmanoğlu on his election as TFF President and wished him success in his new role. The meeting included an assessment of the current status of preparations for the 2032 European Football Championship (EURO 2032), which Turkey will co-host with Italy, as well as the 2026 UEFA Europa League Final and the 2027 UEFA Conference League Final, which will also be played in our country. Ideas were exchanged regarding projects that could be implemented in line with the cooperation between the TFF and UEFA, and the possibilities of hosting new UEFA organizations in our country were discussed.

The opening of a UEFA office in Turkey, which was described as a leader in its region, was also on the meeting's agenda. UEFA President Ceferin invited TFF President Hacıosmanoğlu to UEFA's headquarters in Nyon on September 10, and they also made an appointment to meet again in Istanbul in the near future.

At the end of the meeting, TFF President Hacıosmanoğlu presented UEFA President Ceferin with two A National Team jerseys—one with his own name on it and another belonging to captain Hakan Çalhanoğlu, signed by the entire team—while Ceferin gifted President Hacıosmanoğlu the ball that will be used in the 2024 UEFA Super Cup match.
