The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Arbitration Board has reduced the penalties imposed by the Professional Football Disciplinary Board (PFDK) on Trabzonspor Club President Ertuğrul Doğan and Galatasaray Sportif AŞ Deputy Chairman Erden Timur.

In a statement released by the TFF, it was noted that the board reviewed the appeal filed by Ertuğrul Doğan, who had been sentenced to a 45-day ban from football-related activities and a fine of 210 thousand liras due to unsportsmanlike conduct in an interview given to members of the press following the Fenerbahçe-Trabzonspor match.

It was reported that the board decided to adjust President Doğan's penalty to 30 days and a fine of 142 thousand 857.14 liras.

It was stated that the 200 thousand lira fine imposed on Doğan for his remarks regarding the referee and other match officials was upheld.

The 30-day ban and 143 thousand lira fine imposed on Galatasaray Sportif AŞ Deputy Chairman Erden Timur for "unsportsmanlike conduct" and "remarks regarding the referee and other match officials" in his statements to the media were also reduced. It was noted that the ban was reduced to 21 days and the fine to 100 thousand liras.
