TFF releases VAR recordings for Week 32 of the Süper Lig

The TFF has shared the audio and video recordings of the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) checks for 5 matches played in Week 32 of the Süper Lig on its YouTube account. The matches and decisions included in the video are as follows:

- In the 14th minute of the Hatayspor - Konyaspor match, following a goal by the home team, referee Halil Umut Meler was advised to conduct an on-field review. Meler, who went to the VAR monitor, determined that Bilal Boutobba had handled the ball at the start of the play and disallowed the goal.

- In the 42nd minute of the Galatasaray - Bodrum FK match, Gabriel Sara went down in the penalty area, and referee Mehmet Türkmen pointed to the penalty spot. Türkmen, who received an on-field review recommendation from VAR, came to the sideline. While VAR stated, "The number 21 player plays the ball. This is clearly not a foul. It is a correct intervention," Türkmen said, "Okay, the defender plays the ball. So there is no foul here. I will cancel the penalty. And I will award a dropped ball for the white team." Returning to the pitch, referee Türkmen canceled the penalty.

- In the 37th minute of the Kasımpaşa - Sivasspor match, following a set-piece, the red-and-white players appealed to referee Ali Şansalan for a penalty in the Kasımpaşa penalty area. After a VAR alert, Şansalan came to the sideline to watch the incident and pointed to the penalty spot in favor of Sivasspor, citing a handball by Opoku in the penalty area.

- In the 90+5th minute of the Kasımpaşa - Sivasspor match, referee Ali Şansalan received an 'on-field review for a potential penalty' recommendation from VAR. After watching the incident, Şansalan returned to the pitch and pointed to the penalty spot, ruling that Kasımpaşa player Fall had been brought down by Uğur Çiftçi.

- In the 24th minute of the Başakşehir - Gaziantep FK match, Başakşehir scored through Yusuf Sarı. The Video Assistant Referee advised Zorbay Küçük to conduct an 'on-field review to check for an offside position by an attacking player.' He disallowed the goal on the grounds that the last player was close to the goalkeeper and obstructed the goalkeeper's view.
