The TFF has shared the audio and video recordings of the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) for 2 matches played in Week 34 of the Süper Lig on its YouTube account. The matches and decisions included in the video are as follows:
In the 42nd minute of the Antalyaspor - Konyaspor match, following a free kick taken by the visiting team, referee Cihan Aydın determined there was a handball and awarded a free kick in favor of Antalyaspor.
Receiving a 'potential handball, on-field review' recommendation from VAR, Aydın went to the monitor to review the incident. Upon the VAR stating that there was no foul by the attacking player, referee Cihan Aydın said, "Yes, I agree with you, it's a clear situation. I will award a penalty, no card." Returning to the pitch, Aydın pointed to the penalty spot in favor of Konyaspor, citing a handball by Van de Streek.
In the 88th minute of the Galatasaray - Sivasspor match, a goal scored by the visiting team's Fode Koita was disallowed due to offside.
Referee Ozan Ergün, who was called to the VAR monitor, reviewed the incident. The Video Assistant Referee said, "Mertens touches the ball first, and after that, the attacking player hits it. Therefore, there is an infringement. No goal." Ergün commented, "I see the point of contact. I will restart with a free kick for Galatasaray." Returning to the pitch, Ozan Ergün signaled that the yellow-reds would take the kick, indicating there was contact with the foot.
