The Turkish Association of Active Football Referees and Observers (TFFHGD) has announced that they are opposed to the implementation of foreign VAR referees.
In the statement made by the TFFHGD, it was noted that national values are among the primary elements that make a nation a nation, stating, "As the Headquarters of the Turkish Association of Active Football Referees and Observers, we would like to emphasize that in a world where the power of the Turk comes to the fore in every field, we must protect our own values. We would like to state that we are opposed to the implementation of foreign observers and foreign VAR referees that has begun in our leagues. We would like to point out to the administrators serving in our federation and its boards that the trust placed in the Turkish people in management levels in our country is important, and that we have full confidence that when our members, from the top league to the bottom league in our country of 85 million, are given the necessary value, they will perform these duties in the best possible way."

In the statement, which mentioned that efforts are underway to implement the promises made during the election, the following expressions were used:
"We would like to state that we began working immediately after the announcement of the election results in order to implement all the projects we promised in the launch we held before the Headquarters elections. We would like to state that we will fight in every field to ensure that our referees, observers, and mentors, whom we represent as administrators, reach the best positions they deserve, regardless of whether they supported us or not, and that we will be in contact with all levels of the state as well as the Football Federation and its boards."
