The arch-rivals of the Trendyol Super Lig, Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe, Beşiktaş, and Trabzonspor, are planning to strengthen their squads before the transfer window closes. According to the Italian press, "the Big Four" have entered the race for 3 players currently playing for Udinese.
According to a report by TuttoMercato, Galatasaray wants to sign Udinese's 26-year-old center-back Jaka Bijol. Udinese, however, is opening the bidding at 25 million euros. English clubs are also showing interest in the Slovenian defender. According to the report, Udinese intends to sell Jaka Bijol for a higher fee during the summer transfer window.
Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş have come face-to-face over Oumar Solet. Both arch-rivals have added the French player, who has a market value of 8 million euros, to their transfer lists. Following injuries to Çağlar Söyüncü, Djiku, and Yusuf Akçiçek, the yellow-navies are looking to make one more defensive reinforcement before the transfer window closes.
Trabzonspor has entered the race for Udinese's 23-year-old Danish center-back Thomas Kristensen. However, the Italian club's transfer fee expectation is around 17-18 million euros. In addition to Juventus, Tottenham and Leicester City are also tracking Kristensen.
Beyond Solet, another name Beşiktaş is interested in is 31-year-old center-back Lautaro Giannetti. The black-and-whites have submitted an offer for the Argentine defender. Alongside Beşiktaş, Botafogo and Internacional have also made offers for Giannetti.
