The match Halil Umut Meler will officiate at EURO 2024 has been announced
The first match to be officiated by Halil Umut Meler, the only referee representing Turkey at EURO 2024, has been determined.

FIFA-licensed Turkish referee Halil Umut Meler will officiate the EURO 2024 Group E match between Belgium and Slovakia.
According to the announcement by UEFA, Meler will be assisted by Mustafa Emre Eyisoy and Kerem Ersoy in the match, which will be played on Monday, June 17, at 19:00 TSI at the stadium bearing the same name as the German city of Frankfurt. The fourth official for the match will be Serdar Gözübüyük from the Royal Dutch Football Association.
Bastian Dankert from Germany will serve as the VAR, while Alper Ulusoy and German referee Marco Fritz will serve as AVARs for the match.
