The National Team's potential World Cup play-off opponents have been determined
Slovakia, Kosovo, Denmark, Ukraine, Turkey, Republic of Ireland, Poland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy, Wales, Albania, and the Czech Republic, who finished their groups in second place, will play in the play-offs for a World Cup ticket.

Northern Ireland, Sweden, Romania, and North Macedonia, coming from the Nations League, also became the other teams to secure their names in the play-off stage.
Germany, Switzerland, Scotland, France, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands, Austria, Norway, Belgium, England, and Croatia, who finished their groups as leaders, will participate in the tournament directly.
In the play-off stage, the 12 group runners-up will face the best group winners from the UEFA Nations League.
At the end of the matches, which will be played according to the single-elimination format, the teams that pass 2 rounds (semi-final and final) will qualify for the 2026 World Cup.
The semi-finals will be played on March 26 and the finals on March 31, and the final 4 European teams to go to the 2026 World Cup will be determined.
In the semi-finals, the teams in Pot 1 and Pot 2 will play their matches at home. The host of the final match will be determined by a draw.
The draw will take place in Zurich on Thursday, November 20, at 15:00 TSI.
