After the match, Eyüpspor manager Arda Turan was asked about the Fenerbahçe-Galatasaray derby. The young manager reacted to this question.

Following a dialogue with a journalist, Turan made the following remarks:
"Give up this kind of journalism. The Fenerbahçe-Galatasaray derby... Look, there is a Beşiktaş-Eyüpspor match. You have asked me about the derby 9 times, and then when I get angry, it becomes 'Arda got angry'."
Arda then left the interview area in an agitated manner and departed the stadium.
