The Sultans of the Net continue their losing streak against Serbia

The A National Women's Volleyball Team lost 3-0 to Serbia in the FIVB Volleyball Nations League, marking their third consecutive defeat.

Competing in the 2025 FIVB Volleyball Nations League, the A National Women's Volleyball Team left the court defeated against Serbia in their fourth match of the third week. With this result, the Sultans of the Net have now suffered their fourth defeat in total.

Their quarter-final opponent will be determined following the match between China and the USA. The VNL Finals will be held between July 23-27, 2025, at the Atlas Arena in Lodz, Poland.

The match was played at the Omnisport arena, and the officiating was handled by Pawel Burkiewicz from Poland and Ismail Ibrahim Alblooshi from the United Arab Emirates. The Serbian team featured Ivanovic, Aleksic, Mirkovic, Uzelac, Kurtagic, Boskovic, and Jedgic (Milenkovic) as libero. Turkey took the court with a squad consisting of Yaprak, Zehra, Vargas, Ebrar, Jack-Kısal, Dilay, Gizem (L) (Meliha, Derya, Aslı, Saliha).

The sets of the match ended 25-18, 25-20, and 25-18, lasting a total of 72 minutes.
