The Sultans of the Net defeated by Italy in friendly match

The A National Women's Volleyball Team was defeated 3-2 by host Italy in their second match at the AIA AeQuilibrium Cup held in Italy.

According to the statement by the Turkish Volleyball Federation, the national team faced Italy in their second match of the tournament organized in the city of Modena as part of their preparations for the 2025 FIVB Volleyball Nations League.

The crescent-and-star team lost to their opponent 3-2 with set scores of 14-25, 25-22, 17-25, 29-27, and 15-19.

Having started the tournament with a 3-1 victory over Germany, the national team will play their final match of the event against the Netherlands tomorrow at 15:00 TSI.
