EDA ERDEM DÜNDAR EVALUATED THE OLYMPIC PROCESS

The captain of the Sultans of the Net, Eda Erdem Dündar, made evaluations following the match against Brazil.

The experienced volleyball player emphasized that she is proud of the entire team and said the following:

"It's sad, I am very sad. We must congratulate Brazil; they were able to stay cool-headed in decisive moments. It has been a long summer for us, we needed to close it with a medal, but it didn't happen. I am very proud of my team and the technical staff. Despite everything, we did not give up the fight.

"WE PUT UP A VERY GOOD FIGHT"

The future of this team is very bright. Everyone on the team wants to win very much, but we had injuries on the court and we couldn't train together. Maybe they will say 'She is saying the same thing again,' but if you don't work as a team, it is very difficult to do the same things in a match. Sports is like that. Still, I say it again, I think we put up a very good fight. We had serious injuries, we played with a single setter, Elif tried to do her best. It was very enjoyable to be here."
