The Sultans of the Net on the court for the European championship: Opponent in the final is Italy

The Turkish Women's National Volleyball Team will face Italy today in the final of the Trendyol 2026 CEV Women's European Volleyball Championship. Taking the court as the defending champions, the crescent-and-stars team aims to win the trophy once again and secure their second consecutive European title.

The Turkey-Italy final will begin at 19:00. The match, which will be played at the Sinan Erdem Sports Hall, will be broadcast live on TRT 1.

The Sultans of the Net reached the final by defeating Serbia 3-0 in the semifinals. Italy became Turkey's opponent in the championship match after beating Poland 3-1.

The crescent-and-stars team wants to crown their performance this season in addition to defending their title in the European Championship. The national team finished the FIVB Nations League as champions this season.
