The Sultans of the Net on the court for the quarterfinals: What time is the Turkey-Azerbaijan match and on which channel?

The A National Women's Volleyball Team will take the court against Azerbaijan for a ticket to the quarterfinals in the Trendyol 2026 Women's European Volleyball Championship.

The round of 16 match will begin on Tuesday, September 1, at 19:00. The match, which will be played at the Sinan Erdem Sports Hall, will be broadcast live on TRT 1.

The match will be officiated by Predrag Balandzic from the Serbian Volleyball Federation and Theodora Kyriopoulou from the Greek Volleyball Federation. The team that wins the match will secure its place in the quarterfinals.

HOW DID THEY REACH THE ROUND OF 16?

The Sultans of the Net defeated Slovenia, Latvia, Hungary, and Germany in Group A. Turkey finished in second place after losing 3-2 to Poland in their final group match.

Azerbaijan, on the other hand, competed against Belgium, the Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, and Spain in Group C. Having secured three victories in five matches, Azerbaijan finished its group in third place.
