The Sultans of the Net's championship prize has been announced
Following the A National Women's Volleyball Team's championship victory against Italy, winning 3-2 in the 2026 CEV Trendyol Women's European Volleyball Championship, the prizes to be awarded to the players and head coach Daniele Santarelli have been announced.

The A National Women's Volleyball Team reached the European championship by defeating Italy 3-2 in the final of the 2026 CEV Trendyol Women's European Volleyball Championship.
After their historic championship in 2023, the Sultans of the Net reached the top of Europe again in 2026, thus winning their second gold medal in the European Championship.
LOS ANGELES 2028 TICKET SECURED
Having reached the top in both the Nations League and the European Championship in 2026, just as they did in 2023, the A National Women's Volleyball Team also earned the right to participate in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics with this result.
The Sultans of the Net will represent Turkey in Los Angeles 2028, following their appearances in London 2012, Tokyo 2020, and Paris 2024. The national team will thus compete in the Olympic Games for the third consecutive time and the fourth time in total.
500 THOUSAND EURO PRIZE FROM CEV
The European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) will award a 500 thousand euro prize to the Turkish Volleyball Federation due to the European championship.
In addition to this, prize payments will be made to the national team players within the scope of state regulations due to the championship.
150 REPUBLIC GOLD COINS FOR EACH PLAYER
In accordance with the regulations, each player on the A National Women's Volleyball Team will be given 150 Republic gold coins.
When calculated based on the current value of 150 Republic gold coins, the prize per player amounts to approximately 7 million TL.
30 REPUBLIC GOLD COINS FOR SANTARELLI
Head coach Daniele Santarelli, who led the Sultans of the Net to the European championship, will also be rewarded under the regulations.
It is planned that a payment equivalent to 30 Republic gold coins will be made to Santarelli. Based on the current price of a Republic gold coin, the total value of this prize is calculated to be approximately 1 million 343 thousand TL.
