The Turkish Women's National Volleyball Team faced Poland in their 5th and final match of the 2026 European Volleyball Championship Group A.
In the match played at the Sinan Erdem Sports Hall, which witnessed a fierce contest, the Sultans of the Net were defeated 3-2 by Poland with set scores of 25-15, 21-25, 22-25, 25-16, and 10-15.
THE SULTANS OF THE NET WILL FACE AZERBAIJAN
Suffering their first defeat in their 5th match in the group, the Crescent-Stars finished Group A in 2nd place. Turkey will compete in the Round of 16 of the European Championship.
Poland, having won all 5 of their matches in the group, finished at the top of the table. By finishing at the top of the group, Poland also secured their place in the Round of 16.
The national team will face Azerbaijan in the Round of 16.
