The Crescent-Stars faced Israel in their first group match at the Camille Fournier Stadium. The Amputee National Football Team began the tournament with a win, defeating their opponent 6-0. The goals that secured the victory for the Crescent-Stars were scored by Ömer Güleryüz in the 7th, 27th, 29th, and 48th minutes, Alican Kuruyamaç in the 24th minute, and Muhammet Yeğen in the 49th minute.
The Amputee National Football Team will face Azerbaijan in their second group match tomorrow at 13:00 TSI.

The Israeli Amputee National Football Team was protested with whistles by the stands as they came out for warm-ups and the ceremony before the match. Furthermore, the Amputee National Football Team did not greet the Israeli players.
