The green-and-black team, which won the Ziraat Turkish Cup and TFF Super Cup in 2018 and competed in the Süper Lig for 7 seasons, was forced to withdraw from the leagues due to a financial crisis and transfer bans.

THEY MADE HISTORY IN 2018, RELEGATED IN 2019

While Akhisarspor made history with the Ziraat Turkish Cup and TFF Super Cup it won in 2018, it also competed in the group stage of the UEFA Europa League that same year. However, after being relegated from the Süper Lig in the 2018-2019 season, the team began to struggle with economic difficulties and transfer bans. Unable to reinforce its squad, the club regressed to the amateur league within 5 years and today only maintains a presence in youth categories.

COULD NOT FORM A TEAM, LEFT THE LEAGUE

Unable to form a team in the Regional Amateur League in November 2024, Akhisarspor did not participate in the Manisa Super Amateur League either. Today, only the club's U14 and U16 youth teams are active. The club's name was changed to Akhisar 45 Futbol Spor Kulübü for the 2024 season, and it began representing the district in the Regional Amateur League.

Akhisarspor's decline was once again laid bare by the fact that the club's website has been put up for sale. The club's former internet address, "AkhisarSpor.com", is currently listed for sale on a domain site for 6 Dollars. There is also another website with the address "akhisarspor.net" opened in the club's name, but the old club site has now been put up for sale and has become unusable.
