Trabzonspor clears Rize hurdle with 2 goals

In the match at Çaykur Didi Stadium, Trabzonspor defeated Rizespor, whom they faced away from home, 2-1 to secure their 3rd consecutive victory in the league.
The goals that brought victory to the 'Storm' in the derby were scored by Felipe Augusto in the 2nd minute and Paul Onuachu in the 19th minute.
Rize's goal was recorded by Jesuran Rak-Sakyi in the 27th minute.
The Burgundy-Blues, who extended their winning streak in the league to 3 and continued their rise, brought their points total to 20 and placed 2nd. Rizespor remained in 12th place with 8 points.
Trabzonspor will host Eyüpspor next week in the league, while Rizespor will host Başakşehir.
