Trabzonspor Club President Ertuğrul Doğan spoke highly of the burgundy-blue fans in an article featured in the club magazine.

Doğan stated that almost nothing in football is permanent, saying, "Champions change. Players, coaches, and presidents change. There is only one thing that does not change.
