The Bordeaux-Blues' general secretary, Kemal Ertürk, announced that they have filed a criminal complaint against 347 social media users and 5 sports commentators who targeted the club after the Fenerbahçe match.
Making a written statement, Ertürk used the following expressions:
"Our Legal Board has filed a criminal complaint against 347 social media users and 5 sports commentators who made posts that exceeded the limits of criticism and were unfair, baseless, and lacking legal grounds, in accordance with the relevant articles of the Turkish Penal Code and Law No. 6222, which correspond to their actions. We inform the public that we will follow the process to the end to ensure that those who make baseless accusations and claims against our club are held accountable before the law, just as we have done in the past."
Following the events that took place after the match our club played against Fenerbahçe on March 17, 2024, posts targeting our club and community and leaving them under suspicion have been identified on written and visual media.
