In an official statement released by Trabzonspor, it was stated: "Regarding the capital reduction/increase processes, the price of the TSPOR subscription rights coupon, which stood at 3.45 TL with the start of rights usage on June 19, 2025, has fallen in an irrational manner as a result of unusual price movements."
The club stated that, as a result of investigations, transactions carried out in an organized manner through certain brokerage firms have disrupted market order and caused investor grievances.
The statement included the following remarks:
"In our investigations, we have formed the opinion that market-disrupting transactions, carried out in an organized manner by malicious individuals or groups through certain brokerage firms, have caused the TSPOR subscription rights coupon price to drop abnormally. Consequently, due to the high-profit arbitrage that emerged, these same malicious groups or individuals have suppressed the main TSPOR stock price downward through their transactions, leading to the victimization of our investors."
PROCESS UNDER MONITORING FOR INVESTOR RIGHTS
Trabzonspor announced that it has filed an official criminal complaint with the Capital Markets Board to identify the details of the manipulative movements and to determine those responsible. It was stated that the process will be meticulously monitored by the club.
The statement concluded with the following remarks:
"The process will be meticulously followed by us, and in order to protect the rights of our investors, we will act in cooperation with all relevant institutions and organizations, primarily the Capital Markets Board (CMB)."
