Trabzonspor rains goals on Gençlerbirliği in first match after Fatih Tekke

In the 4th week of the Trendyol Süper Lig, Trabzonspor secured a dominant victory against Gençlerbirliği, whom they hosted at home. The claret-and-blues won the match played at Papara Park 5-0.

Starting the match effectively, Trabzonspor took the lead in the 5th minute with a goal from Paul Onuachu. In the 13th minute, Muhammed Salah stepped up to the spot for a penalty awarded after a VAR review. Salah converted the penalty in the 14th minute to double the lead.

Onuachu took the stage once again for the claret-and-blues in the 22nd minute, making the score 3-0. The Nigerian player was substituted in the 43rd minute due to a minor injury, leaving his place to new signing Franculino Dju.

Completing the first half with a 3-0 lead, Trabzonspor maintained their dominance in the second half. In the 59th minute, Ernest Muçi scored his team's fourth goal. In the 78th minute, substitute Franculino Dju found the back of the net to determine the final score of the match: 5-0.
